Do you have a full arch of missing teeth, many teeth that need to be extracted, or a traditional denture that slips? A hybrid denture secured with dental implants could be the perfect solution for your oral health needs. Secured by several strategically placed implants, a hybrid full arch denture can give you back a stable and functional smile.Â

What Are All-on-X Dental Implants?
A long-term solution for people who have lost most or all of their teeth — without the hassle of traditional dentures.
All-on-X dental implants are a modern way to replace a full row of teeth. Instead of putting in one implant per tooth, a dentist places just four to six titanium implants into your jawbone. These implants hold a full set of replacement teeth in place — for the top jaw, the bottom jaw, or both.
The “X” in All-on-X refers to the number of implants used. The two most common options are All-on-4 (four implants) and All-on-6 (six implants). Dr. Alexander will choose the right number based on the health of your jawbone and your personal needs.
This approach has changed the lives of millions of people. It gives you a full smile that looks real, feels stable, and works just like your natural teeth. You can eat, talk, laugh, and brush — all without worrying about your teeth slipping or falling out.
Did you know? All-on-X is sometimes called “Teeth in a Day” because many patients walk out of the office with a new set of teeth on the same day as their procedure.
What Is a Hybrid Full Arch Replacement?
A hybrid prosthesis combines the strength of implants with the look and comfort of a natural smile.
A hybrid full arch replacement — also called a hybrid denture or implant-supported bridge — is the type of restoration most often used with All-on-X implants. It gets its name because it blends two things: the stability of dental implants and the craftsmanship of a custom-made dental prosthesis (replacement teeth).
Unlike traditional removable dentures that rest on your gums, a hybrid arch is permanently attached to your implants with small screws. Only your dentist can remove it — which means it won’t come out while you eat, speak, or sleep.
What Is A Hybrid Denture Made Of?
Hybrid dentures are made from durable, high-quality materials. Common options include:
- Zirconia (ceramic): Very strong, natural-looking, and stain-resistant. A popular long-term choice.
- Acrylic on a titanium bar: Lighter weight and less expensive. A good option for many patients.
- Porcelain-fused materials: Highly lifelike appearance, great for front teeth aesthetics.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
All-on-X implants work for a wide range of patients. You may be a great candidate if you:
- Have lost most or all of your teeth in one or both arches.
- Have teeth that are too damaged or decayed to save.
- Wear dentures but struggle with fit, comfort, or confidence.
- Have enough jawbone to support implants (or can build it up).
- Are in good overall health and do not smoke heavily.
- Want a long-term, permanent solution.

Even if you’ve been told you don’t have enough bone for implants, you may still qualify. Advanced techniques like bone grafting or the angled implant placement used in All-on-4 can help many patients who were once turned away.
