Dental Insurance
Please bring the necessary information with you on your first visit. We accept most insurance plans and will gladly process your claim. Our office will estimate your dental insurance benefits and what is covered. We will collect your copay and bill your insurance provider for covered treatment.
What types of dental insurance do you accept?
We accept and file most dental insurance, including Florida Combined Life Blue Dental Choice/Choice Plus (PPO) and Delta Dental Premier (PPO). We will handle the necessary billing and paperwork to maximize your benefits and minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.
We participate as an in-network provider for a wide range of dental insurance companies, including MetLife, CIGNA, and AETNA. For a full list or to see if we participate with your dental insurance provider, contact our Jacksonville dentist office. We also accept and file Medicare supplement dental insurance plans.
Do you accept VA referrals for dental care?
Yes, Dr. Alexander accepts veterans being referred through the Veteran Dental Insurance Plan (VADIP).
Which procedures are covered by dental insurance?
Dental insurance is designed to be an employee benefit that offsets the cost of basic and preventive care. Most dental plans base the allowed benefit on the least expensive alternative treatment solution. If your insurance does not cover your procedure or only pays a portion of your treatment, we can offer other payment options to minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.
